If I could make a wish right now
I would want poverty to end to stop slavery of all kinds to stop hatred which fuels most of the problems we have from terrorism, racism, and ignorance to stop abuse to women and children end child prostitution stop human trafficking end corruption and greed all the ills of our globalized world if we have all the information in the world then how is it that some of these problems continue? is it misinformation? or is it that we turn a blind eye to things we dont agree with or problems that are too far away that dont affect us personally? how do we live with ourselves? maybe thats why most of us are pessimistic and dealing with depression we have all this technology that provides us with so much information that instead of informing us makes a case in our country's "interests" it seems as educated as we are...we are misinformed and not just that we look to guilty pleasures to make ourselves feel better like the jersey shore we just cant deal with what our lives have become we dont feel control everything seems too out of reach and harder because so many people are going to college so many are going to grad schools not enough opportunities it seems that there is no escaping pessimism in our society is who has it less?
